Internship
An internship at the German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) offers you an insight into the tasks and day-to-day business of the German Delegation of Industries and Commerce in Taiwan. You will be working on current topics concerning German-Taiwanese trade, have the chance to gather in-depth knowledge about the Taiwanese economy and to gain experience in the Taiwanese business culture.

Events, Delegations & Gov. Affairs
Job Description
- Conducting market research and compiling market studies on various topics such as Industry 4.0, EV, 5G etc.
- Support of renewable energy related projects
- Support of German Business Alliance member companies
- Organizing seminars, receptions as well as networking events (Stammtisch, Christmas Dinner, Oktoberfest, Christmas Market...)
- Processing inquiries of German companies, preparing visits of the GTO, e. g. to Taiwanese universities, institutions and companies
- Preparation of travel schedules, delegation and company visits
Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program or in between a Bachelor and Master program
- Major in international business, economics, trade, diplomacy, politics, Chinese studies or similar fields
- Native proficiency in German, fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office; Adobe Suite is a plus
- Abroad studies or work experience in Taiwan, PR China or Hong Kong are a plus

Job Description
- Supporting current projects, e. g. organizing seminars, receptions and other events
- Summarizing, translating and editing of newspaper articles for the weekly newsletter
- Website and social media maintenance
- Design of flyers, presentations and other printed publications
Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program or in between a Bachelor and Master program
- Major in business studies, economics, law, Chinese studies or similar fields Native proficiency in German, fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office and Adobe Suite
- Abroad studies or work experience in Taiwan, PR China or Hong Kong are a plus

DEinternational, the service unit of the GTO, offers a comprehensive portfolio of services. We offer trade fair and HR services, market entry support, investment promotion support, engage in public relations and communication, and organize seminars and events for our clients.
An internship at DEinternational Taiwan Ltd. provides a deep insight into the daily business and responsibilities of AHK Taiwan. In addition, you learn a lot about the local culture and experience the German-Taiwanese (economic) relations yourself.
Job Description Market Entry Services
- Facilitation of German-Taiwan business cooperation
- Supporting long-term projects, such as business partner match making, market and location research, investment consulting and event planning
- Assisting the team in conducting market research and creating content for business-related reports and publications (in German and English)
- Answering general enquiries from day-to-day business
- Research and short analyses of markets and industries
- Translations in English and German
- Acquisition of potential German exhibitors for Taiwanese trade fairs
- Assistance in marketing and organizing trade fair pavilions
- Building and maintaining databases
Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program
- Major in business studies, economics, law, Chinese studies or similar fields
- Native proficiency in German, fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office (2007); Adobe Suite is a plus
