BASF Constructs New Electronic Grade Ammonium Hydroxide Plant in Ludwigshafen
Ludwigshafen, Germany – October 30, 2025 – BASF today announces the
construction of a state-of-the-art Electronic Grade Ammonium Hydroxide (NH4OH
EG) plant in Ludwigshafen, Germany, in support of wafer cleaning, etching and
other precision processes in semiconductor manufacturing. This critical ultra-pure
chemical will support the growth and expansion of semiconductor companies in
Europe, ensuring a robust local supply chain for the production of advanced chips.
