In the last decade German enterprises have shown increased interest in Taiwan's industries, and German investment in Taiwan has soared, with many German firms wanting to follow important clients and eagerly looking for skilled labor to fill into their ranks. In light of these developments the "Taiwan Round Table", held at the IHK Köln in Germany, aims to educate German companies on the opportunities and possible difficulties associated with a move to Taiwan.

Mrs. Leonie Yang, General Manager of DEinternational (Service Unit of the German Trade Office Taipei), will inform interested parties about the developments in Taiwan, be it in the business sector or in terms of the impact the trade tensions have had on the island close to the PR China.
