German Companies can Cooperate with Local Taiwanese Governments to Apply for EPA Subsidies
The Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) announced that it will provide subsidies to local Taiwanese governments of up to NT$10 million (ca. 281.000€) for about 10 carbon-reduction proposals to further reduce carbon emissions.
Since only local Taiwanese governments (e.g. Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung etc.) are eligible for these subsidies, German companies need to directly contact local governments and cooperate with them in order to profit from EPA's subsidies. Companies can cooperate with local governments by developing innovative carbon-reduction proposals, which will then be submitted to the EPA by the local governments.
Applications should be filed by the end of September, the winners will be announced before the end of this year.
