EPEA Internationale Umweltforschung GmbH was founded in 1987 by Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart in Germany. As an internationally active scientific research and consultancy institute, EPEA works with actors and companies from economy, politics and science and supports them in the introduction of circular process, design and certification. We look beyond borders – and begin there with our Cradle to Cradle (C2C) concept and principle. Starting from 2010, EPEA Taiwan Branch has been dedicated to developing the C2C concept in Asia-Pacific to constantly stimulate industrial innovation and established the first Taiwanese circular economy initiative, the "Taiwan Cradle-to-Cradle Strategic Alliance", with the Taiwan Environmental Protection Agency. In 2019, there are more than 100 members have joined the C2C alliance in Taiwan. Meanwhile, EPEA Taiwan shares the latest C2C and circular economy approach, encourages all sectors to get involved in C2C design, production and consumption through the "C2C Platform" (www.c2cplatform.tw).
