We are currently looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and independent professional to join our team as Controlling & Digitalisation Manager. If you have a passion for continuous improvement, a paperless office and lean processes in line with local regulations, you will have the unique chance to drive organisational changes and have an impact on all financial controlling topics such as planning budgeting, reporting, forecasting, analysing and challenging financial KPIs.

DEinternational Taiwan Ltd. is the service unit of the German Trade Office Taipei and specializes in supporting companies to develop and expand business activities in Taiwan or Germany. Ranging from market entry and expansion support, trade fairs, legal and investment as well as recruiting and training services, we offer a broad variety of support for the German Taiwanese business community.
The German Trade Office Taipei is the official delegation of the German Industry and Commerce in Taiwan and a member of the global network of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs) at 150 locations in 93 countries around the world. Our team actively promotes economic relations between Taiwan and Germany and represents the interest of German economic interests in Taiwan.
Your Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Training in the accounting systems of our German parent organisation
- Monitoring actuals vs budget, analysing deviations and their drivers, recommending measures to ensure budget achievement and track ongoing progress of different plans and major projects and clients
- Preparation of controlling documents to the management
- Supporting in all matters related to local accounting and bookkeeping
- Financial planning and forecasting (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly etc.)
- Supporting the team in project and service calculations
- Conducting internal trainings on finance / controlling topics as well as process optimization including 1:1 coaching if required
- Driving process improvement/automation
- Driving standardization, optimization, and automation of internal financial processes with a strong focus on lean and digital structures including but not limited to appropriate software solutions
- Driving best practice sharing, efficiency increase, and standards setting for controlling topics including implementation of KPIs together with the management
Your background
- University degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting (CPA experience appreciated) or business administration
- Chinese-native speaker
- Fluency in both written and spoken English language
- 5+ years of work experience in a similar position
- Communicative team player with a strong customer service orientation
- High self-motivation with the ability and willingness to identify and solve new tasks
- Knowledge of IT tools like MS-Office and experience working with systems relevant for controlling
- Experience applying controlling-related local and international standards
- Experience using analytics, moderation and presentation techniques to address different stakeholders at all levels of seniority
- Intrapreneurial attitude and desire to bring new approaches into our team from concept phase down to implementation level

- Salary: between 40.000 – 65.000 NT$ fixed monthly salary (depending on previous experience and qualifications), plus variable, performance based year-end payment
