Porsche Taiwan Grants Wishes for Seriously Ill Children in Collaboration with Make-A-Wish

  • News

Porsche continues to make dreams come true for seriously ill children and young adults worldwide. Through its collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the German luxury automaker has pledged to grant 356 heartfelt wishes, a symbolic number referencing Porsche’s first-ever model, the 356.

Porsche Taiwan Make-A-Wish

With a €1.8 million donation, Porsche has already helped fulfill over 200 wishes, including 120 in 2024 alone. In Taiwan, Porsche Taiwan and Make-A-Wish Taiwan granted three wishes last year, creating unforgettable experiences for local children.

One particularly touching story is Nic, a 10-year-old from Taiwan, who has always dreamed of becoming a racing driver. Thanks to Porsche Taiwan, Nic visited the newly opened Porsche Driving Centre Lihpao, where he received a custom racing suit and helmet, learned about driving techniques, and experienced a high-speed lap in a Porsche 911 GT3. His laughter and excitement on the track truly embodied the spirit of making dreams come true.

Beyond Taiwan, Porsche's global efforts have changed lives, from a young superhero fan in the United States experiencing a day as a police officer, to a football enthusiast in Germany meeting her favorite player, and a panda-loving boy in China getting an up-close encounter with his favorite animals.

Since its establishment in 2018, Porsche Taiwan has been dedicated to corporate social responsibility through its Dream Together program, reinforcing its commitment to giving back to the community.
