codixx AG is a German company that was founded on September 1, 1998. Based on an innovative technology for the production and processing of nanoparticles in glass, codixx develops and manufactures polarizers for the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectral range, polymer polarizers as well as substrates for analytic purposes.

Since 2007, Cutting Edge Coatings, based in Hannover, has been developing high-end, custom-built systems for Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) — a key technology for producing ultra-high-quality optical thin films.

Our systems enable coating with mixed materials and the creation of rugate filters with a continuously varying refractive index — a unique capability in the industry. Docter Optics looks back to 40 years of experience in the manufacture and development of customized optical components, optomechanical and optoelectronic systems. The company has developed several patented processes for the large-scale industrial production of multifunctional free-form components from its own special glass as well as a multi-layer process for polymer optics and today even offers fully cast precision optics for the latest HD pixels and µPixel systems for headlights.
