German Christmas Markets 2025

Originating in the Middle Ages, Christmas markets in Germany boast a history of 700 to 800 years. To allow Taiwanese to experience the rich festive atmosphere of this long-standing tradition, the German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) has been hosting the German Christmas Markets since 2020. The markets feature a variety of delectable European foods, including classic German sausages, pork knuckles, and Christmas stollen, as well as warm and comforting mulled wine—a Christmas market essential. Visitors can also enjoy a wide array of German goods and family-friendly activities. The markets promise to bring unforgettable German Christmas cheer to the Taiwanese.
