TMTS 2026 Road Show II @Chiayi: Aerospace Application Day – Unlocking the Aerospace Future with Smart Machine Tools

Event Overview

TMTS 2026 highlights the application of high-value machine tools in the aerospace sector. To help exhibitors gain early insights into market developments, the German Trade Office Taipei and the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association are co-organizing the “TMTS 2026 Road Show: Aerospace Application Day ” across multiple cities.

The second session of the series will take place in Chiayi, in close collaboration with the Asia UAV AI Innovation Application R&D Center— a key hub for UAV research, integration, and industrial development in Taiwan. The center currently hosts nearly 50 participants from industry, government, academia, and research sectors, serving as a vital base for UAV innovation from R&D and testing to commercialization.

In recent years, UAV applications in the aerospace industry have rapidly expanded from defense to commercial sectors such as agriculture, energy inspection, logistics, and urban air mobility (UAM). Meanwhile, laser processing and optical measurement technologies have become crucial enablers in UAV and aerospace manufacturing, driving advancements in precision engineering and lightweight structural design.

During the Chiayi session, representatives from UAV and aerospace supply chains, and technology providers will share real-world insights and challenges. This event provides a unique opportunity for machine tool manufacturers to connect with the evolving aerospace and UAV ecosystems, build valuable networks, and align with future technological needs. Before TMTS 2026 officially opens, the ‘’TMTS 2026 Road Show : Aerospace Application Day’’ serves as a bridge between smart manufacturing and aerospace innovation, paving the way for cross-industry collaboration and new high-value business opportunities.
