Even before the 2020 launch of the Taycan, its first all-electric vehicle, Porsche Taiwan proactively developed a comprehensive charging infrastructure, demonstrating its dedication to a seamless electric mobility experience for Porsche owners.
This upgrade is designed to enhance the convenience of electric vehicle ownership, enabling Porsche owners to undertake long-distance travel across the island with greater ease. The upgraded chargers feature enhanced charging speeds of up to 17 kW. Porsche owners can continue to utilize the existing Porsche Charging App to locate and check availability, as well as initiate authentication via Porsche Charging APP or Charging Card, ensuring an elevated and convenient user experience. Real-time monitoring ensures smooth operations and reduces downtime. In addition, Porsche owners continue to enjoy charging for free at all Destination Chargers, while billing is enabled for non-Porsche vehicle owners.
Porsche Taiwan emphasizes that this Destination Charging network expansion is an important complement to its existing Turbo Charging network, further demonstrating the brand's dedication to developing a robust charging infrastructure throughout the Taiwanese market. Porsche Taiwan acknowledges the valuable collaboration with its partners in this initiative: charging equipment supplier Zerova, smart management system provider HeTone Green Energy, and demonstration site Regent Taipei.
HeTone also offers Porsche customers a standardized home charging package, which includes charging hardware from Zerova along with a home check and professional installation service.
