The German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) once again organizes the German Pavilion this year, bringing together 20 German companies and making it the largest national pavilion at the exhibition. Exhibitors will showcase innovative technologies and solutions spanning industrial automation, smart manufacturing, precision measurement, machine vision, industrial communication and software. During the exhibition, the German Pavilion will also host two “Solution Pitch” sessions focusing on AI data centers and high-tech facilities, as well as space and aerospace applications, highlighting the cross-industry potential of German automation technologies.
Dr. Eva Langerbeck, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German Trade Office Taipei, said: “As AI continues to advance rapidly and manufacturers worldwide face growing demands for greater efficiency, resilience and energy management, automation technologies are playing an increasingly critical role. This year, the German Pavilion brings together 20 German companies, showcasing Germany’s strong capabilities in smart manufacturing and industrial automation, as well as the potential of these technologies across sectors such as AI data centers, high-tech facilities and aerospace. Taiwan is a global leader in semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing, while Germany has longstanding strengths in industrial automation, precision engineering and systems integration. Through Automation Taipei, we look forward to further connecting companies and technologies from both sides and creating new opportunities for industrial cooperation.”
To foster further exchange between German and Taiwanese industries, the German Pavilion will host two “Solution Pitch” sessions at 2:00 p.m. on August 19 and 20, featuring industry experts who will share the latest applications and practical experience in automation technologies. The August 19 session, themed “AI Data Center / High Tech Facilities,” will focus on the infrastructure and manufacturing needs driven by the rapid growth of AI and high-tech industries. Topics will include high-precision inline measurement, data center automation, AMR/AGV safety and compliance, AI and automation system integration, machine vision, and monitoring solutions for liquid cooling systems.
The August 20 session will focus on “Space Tech,” exploring how automation and precision technologies can enhance quality, reliability and production efficiency in aerospace manufacturing. Topics will range from aerospace systems and precision fluid dispensing processes to automation applications in manufacturing. Following each session, the German Pavilion will host a Happy Hour, offering visitors an opportunity to connect with industry experts and business representatives over German beer in a relaxed setting, expand their professional networks and explore potential cooperation opportunities.
In addition to the activities at the exhibition, GTO will host the “GTO Networking with Panel Discussion” on the evening of August 20 at the Courtyard by Marriott Taipei. Under the theme “Intelligent & Sustainable Manufacturing: How German Engineering Is Driving the Next Industrial Transformation,” representatives from Phoenix Contact, Micro-Epsilon and Siemens will share insights into AI-driven manufacturing, digital transformation, smart automation, precision measurement, industrial connectivity and sustainability. The discussions will highlight how German engineering solutions can help companies improve production efficiency, build more resilient manufacturing environments, and accelerate the transition toward intelligent and sustainable manufacturing. A networking dinner will follow, providing German and Taiwanese business representatives with opportunities to connect, exchange industry insights and explore new avenues for cooperation.
