First introduced to Taiwanese children in 2018, the flagship initiative expands access to immersive sustainability education for underserved children, combining educational support with nature-based learning to inspire the next generation of responsible citizens.
This year, children from rural areas of Hsinchu traveled to Yilan for the three-day Earth Keepers camp, experiencing environmental education beyond the classroom. Developed by The Institute for Earth Education and introduced to Taiwan through SOW, Earth Keepers is a globally recognized program for children aged 10 to 12. As the only Earth Keepers camp site in Asia, SOW has localized the program by integrating its educational methodology with Taiwan's unique ecosystems, encouraging children to explore biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable living through firsthand experiences.
For Porsche Taiwan, the program represents the coming together of two long-term partners with complementary missions. Boyo has long supported educational opportunities for children from underserved communities, while SOW contributes expertise in environmental conservation and experiential learning. Together, they provide children with meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, and build a lasting connection with nature.

Through exploration, observation, and reflection, Earth Keepers helps children develop a personal connection with the natural world while fostering environmental awareness and responsibility that extends beyond the camp experience.
