Taipei, Taiwan – The 2025 Automation Taipei Exhibition officially opened today at Nangang Exhibition Center. The four-day event will feature the latest automation equipment and cutting-edge technologies from around the world. This year, the German Pavilion brings together 18 renowned German companies, expanding to 58 booths (522 sqm)—a 16% increase compared to last year—and remains the only national pavilion at the exhibition. Exhibitors will showcase state-of-the-art technologies across industrial automation, robotics, industrial communication and software, hardware tools, plant equipment, and machine tools, providing visitors with deeper insights into Germany’s innovation capabilities in Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.

In addition to the exhibition, the German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) will host a networking with panel discussion on August 20, as well as two special sessions at the German Pavilion on August 21 and 22, focusing on cross-sector innovations and future trends in semiconductors, automation, and aerospace industries.

Dr. Eva Langerbeck, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German Trade Office Taipei, stated:

"With the ongoing advancement of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing, German companies are leveraging innovative automation technologies to address challenges such as limited resources, an aging population, and labor shortages. This year’s expanded German Pavilion, featuring 18 exhibitors and 58 booths, is the only national pavilion at the show and demonstrates Germany’s strength in smart manufacturing and cross-industry solutions. We have also organized a panel discussion and two special sessions to spotlight the latest developments in semiconductors, automation, and aerospace. Taiwan, as a key global hub in the semiconductor supply chain, is highly complementary to Germany in the field of smart manufacturing. Through this exhibition, we look forward to deepening German-Taiwanese business cooperation, jointly driving innovation in manufacturing, and creating more opportunities for bilateral trade and technological exchange."

To further promote German-Taiwanese industrial collaboration, the German Trade Office Taipei, in collaboration with event sponsor ADVANT Beiten, will host the networking with panel discussion: “Automation, Aerospace and AI” on the evening of August 20 at the Courtyard by Marriott Taipei, bringing together German and Taiwanese experts to discuss market trends and opportunities. In addition, the German Pavilion will hold two on-site sessions on August 21 and 22, focusing respectively on cross-sector applications of semiconductors and automation technologies, as well as how automation is transforming future aerospace manufacturing. Following the events, the German Pavilion will host its traditional Happy Hours, offering classic German beer to provide attendees with a relaxed networking environment and spark new opportunities for collaboration.
