The new Changhua Yuanlin Turbo charging station serves as a green model, showcasing Porsche’s innovative approach to energy management. It integrates a renewable energy system with a battery energy storage system (ESS) built from repurposed batteries. This on-site system stores energy during the day to power the station's lighting at night, making it entirely self-sufficient. This use of repurposed batteries not only extends their lifecycle and reduces waste, but the station's self-sufficiency also significantly lowers its carbon footprint. This new station sets a new benchmark for energy and environmental sustainability, serving as a model for future developments.

Initial tests have shown that the energy stored from the on-site power generation system can provide all the power needed for the station's lighting for two full nights, proving the effectiveness of its energy-saving design.
Porsche Taiwan Continues to Expand its Destination Charging Network
In addition to its advanced Turbo Charging network, Porsche Taiwan is actively expanding its Destination Charging network to provide owners with a more comprehensive charging experience. Following the launch of the Yuanlin Turbo Charging station, Porsche Taiwan also announces the addition of a new destination charging site at the San Hao International Hotel in Tainan. The location has added two new charging units, bringing the total number of chargers to four, further strengthening the Porsche charging network in Southern Taiwan.
As of now, Porsche Taiwan has established a total of 49 DC fast chargers and 235 AC chargers across Taiwan, located at 23 and 91 sites respectively. Through the continuous expansion of this network, Porsche owners can enjoy a convenient and worry-free electric vehicle lifestyle no matter where they are.
The new charging stations are key milestones in Porsche Taiwan’s ongoing efforts to build a comprehensive and sustainable charging network, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the future of electric mobility.
