Porsche Taiwan and Boyo Social Welfare Foundation Inspire Young Dreamers Through Four Years of Summer Class Tours Across Taiwan

  • News

This summer marked a milestone for Porsche Taiwan and the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation, as the Summer Class Tour, a flagship initiative under Porsche Taiwan’s Dream Together program, completed its four-year journey with its first-ever stop in eastern Taiwan. First launched in 2022, the program has extended its reach across Taiwan, from mountain communities to offshore islands, ultimately forming a circle around the island. Over the four summers, the program has reached 14 Boyo centres in 10 counties and cities, engaging hun-dreds of students through experiences that combined learning, creativity, and imagination.

The 2025 edition brought this island-wide journey with joy and inspiration. Though the finale was relocated due to a typhoon, students from Boyo Hualien centre gathered for a day of creativity, encouragement, and discovery. At every stop over the past four summers, children have been inspired to look beyond their circumstances through storytelling workshops and the unforgettable Porsche Ride experience. Their dreams painted futures as boundless as the horizon—ranging from traveling the world, becoming a professional baseball player, nurse, teacher, or artist, to even aspiring to be a space scientist. Each voice carried the same message: with encouragement, dreams can take root anywhere.

Since 2022, the Summer Class Tour has spanned thousands of kilometres, from the racetrack at the Porsche Driving Centre to the offshore islands of Penghu, from the mountains of Nantou to the southern communities of Pingtung. Along the way, Porsche Taiwan and Boyo have cre-ated lasting memories that show how passion and determination can open new horizons for young minds.

Christian Nater, CEO of Porsche Taiwan, reflected:“When we launched the Summer Class Tour in 2022, our vision was to inspire children by bringing Porsche’s spirit of innovation and possibility across Taiwan, no matter where they lived. Over these four years, we have been deeply inspired by the courage and optimism of students in every community. Education opens horizons, and this program reminds every child that their dreams are valid, no matter where they are from. Even when plans change, dreams remain constant. It has been a privilege to walk this journey with Boyo and with so many extraordinary young dreamers.”

The legacy of the Summer Class Tour extends beyond the experiences themselves. In some rural regions, not only current students but also Boyo alumni, some now even returning as teachers, joined the program to pass on the inspiration to a new generation. Their stories embody the ripple effect that Porsche Taiwan and Boyo envisioned: one of empowerment, community, and lasting impact.

“What began in 2022 as a simple idea has become a transformative chapter for Boyo. Porsche Taiwan has consistently expanded the horizons of our students, and through this four-year partnership, they have shown what it means to dream together. The impact of this program will continue to resonate long after,” said Chuan-Yi Tang, Chairman of the Boyo Social Welfare Foundation.

As the island tour of Summer Class Tour concludes, Porsche Taiwan reaffirms its commitment to education and social responsibility. Through the Dream Together program, the brand con-tinues to reflect its values of innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. By com-pleting this four-year journey, Porsche Taiwan and Boyo have not only inspired young minds but also established a legacy of hope, opportunity, and shared dreams for Taiwan’s future.
