As part of Porsche’s global 356 Wishes initiative, an homage to the legendary Porsche 356, Porsche Taiwan completed ten wishes with Make-A-Wish Taiwan. From an art exhibition, a police uniform, and a doctor’s coat to a family portrait, a race, and a song shared online, these dreams carry one message: they transcend circumstances, giving children courage, determination, and inspiration.
Four Dreams, One Year of Inspiration
The final chapter of 2025 saw four unforgettable wishes realised in Taiwan:
A Calling in Medicine. Fifteen-year-old Xiao Yo, once treated for a malignant tumour, stepped into an operating theatre as a “little doctor.” Wearing scrubs and shadowing surgeons, she strengthened her resolve to one day heal others.
Courage in Uniform. Five-year-old Aan, recovering from heart surgery, fulfilled his dream of becoming a policeman. Donning a uniform, he patrolled with officers and proudly declared “All clear!”—turning shyness into confidence.
Art that Heals. Sixteen-year-old Sabrina who has experienced a tough year treating cancer, has held her solo exhibition In the Absence of Nine at Porsche Centre Taichung, which was transformed into a gallery. Her works turned hardship into inspiration, offering light to others.
A Voice Shared with the World. Eight-year-old Amber, still undergoing leukemia treatment, recorded six songs in a professional studio. Through her YouTube channel, she now shares that joy with countless others beyond hospital walls.
Ten Dreams, One Purpose
From Kimi’s special day at the National Palace Museum, to Nic donning a racing suit at the Porsche Driving Centre, to Sisi capturing her first family portrait, Porsche Taiwan and Make-A-Wish Taiwan have shown that even the most complex wishes can be fulfilled through collaboration.
“Every fulfilled wish is more than a joyful day; it is a turning point in a child’s journey and a source of strength for the family,” said John Chen, Chairman of Make-A-Wish Taiwan. “With Porsche Taiwan’s active involvement, from funding to opening spaces such as Porsche Centre and the Porsche Driving Centre, these children discover that dreams once thought distant can in fact be realised.”
“As a brand born from a dream, Porsche is proud to stand with these extraordinary children,” said Christian Nater, CEO of Porsche Taiwan. “Through art, music, and motorsport, we see the resilience of the human spirit. Their stories motivate us to contribute what we can, because when dreams are shared, they have the power to change lives”
Globally, Porsche and Make-A-Wish have also fulfilled special wishes for children and young people facing critical illness, as part of the same initiative. Here are 5 examples from this year.
A First Glimpse of the Sea. Five-year-old Carlos from Mexico City, living with leukaemia, saw the ocean for the very first time. In Cancún, he and his father spent four joyful days building sandcastles and playing by the shore — a seaside dream come true.
A Journey on the Rails. Four-year-old Qing from Guizhou, who has melanoma skin cancer, is fascinated by trains. His wish brought him to the Chinese Railway Museum in Beijing, where he explored steam engines and bullet trains with wide-eyed wonder.
A Leap of Courage. Sixteen-year-old Marta from Lisbon, creative and fearless, fulfilled her dream of skydiving. Overcoming her nerves, she took to the skies, with her dive through the clouds becoming a powerful symbol of hope and strength.
A Winter Dream. Fifteen-year-old Caleb from Atlanta, who lives with cystic fibrosis, experienced snow for the first time in the Rocky Mountains. Sleigh rides, snow tubing, and hikes turned his wish into a shared family adventure of laughter and warmth.
A Birthday by the Sea. Five-year-old Faris from Singapore, who lives with West syndrome, celebrated a special birthday on Sentosa Island. Arriving in a Porsche to a hotel filled with balloons and cake, he and his family shared a day brimming with joy and gratitude.
Thanks to the partnership between Make-A-Wish and Porsche, more than 300 wishes have already been granted worldwide – and a further 50 will follow by the end of 2025.
