Internship Title: Automation Engineering Internship at ASYS Taiwan

Internship Start and Duration: Between Aug.1 and Jan. 31, min. 4 month, max. 5 months.

Internship Location: Taoyuan

Tasks/ Responsibilities: Interns will participate in structured training and hands-on project work to develop skills in software programming, controller programming, and electrical design. 1. Training & Skill Development Interns will attend structured training courses covering the following areas: • Software Programming: GUI design, version control, object-oriented programming, and multithreading • Controller Programming: PLC programming and automation logic • Electrical Design: Circuit schematics, safety standards, system integration, and I/O testing 2. Hands-on Project Work Under the guidance of ASYS engineers, interns will apply their training in practical projects, including: • Project Implementation: Contributing to automation-related technical solutions and engineering tasks • Final Presentation: Presenting project results and receiving feedback from supervising engineers Collaboration & Departments Interns will primarily work within the Electronics and Software Department, collaborating with engineers specializing in: • Controller programming (PLC programming, robot controller architecture, automation logic) • Electrical design (circuit schematics, safety standards, system integration) • GUI development for automation systems Interns will also collaborate with the Maintenance Department during robot testing and system validation activities.

Learning Possibilities: During the internship, participants will develop practical knowledge and skills in the following areas: 1. Internship Title: Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) of Taiwan Tech Off Campus Internship

Internship Title: Technical Strategy & Application Engineering Intern -Key Focus: Semiconductor Automation @ Beckhoff Taiwan

Internship Start and Duration: August 1st 2026, Duration: 5 months

Internship Location: Taichung

Tasks/ Responsibilities: The intern will work at the intersection of Application Engineering and Technical Strategy, with a primary focus on semiconductor equipment automation in Taiwan. 

1. Engineering Focus (~70%): Semiconductor Equipment Automation Analysis 

• (1) System Analysis: Study control architectures for semiconductor equipments (motion control system, EtherCAT, and PC-based control). 
• (2) Requirements Mapping: Evaluate how Beckhoff’s platform (TwinCAT/IPC) addresses needs in Lithography, Etching, and Advanced Packaging. 
• (3) Solution Design: Support the development of conceptual control system architectures, including system topologies and block diagrams. 
• (4) Benchmarking: Conduct technical comparisons against competitor platforms (e.g., Keyence, Mitsubishi, Omron) regarding performance and scalability.

Tasks/ Responsibilities: 1. Commercial Excellence & SFE Support: - Assist in maintaining and updating SFE dashboards to track key performance indicators for the sales and marketing teams. - Support CRM data management, including data cleansing, entry, and assisting with regional CRM system rollouts or user story review sessions. - Help prepare regular performance reports and translate raw data into clear, actionable visual insights. 2.
