Internship
An internship at the German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) offers you an insight into the tasks and day-to-day business of the German Delegation of Industries and Commerce in Taiwan. You will be working on current topics concerning German-Taiwanese trade, have the chance to gather in-depth knowledge about the Taiwanese economy and to gain experience in the Taiwanese business culture.

Events, Delegations & Gov. Affairs
Job Description
- Political advocacy and support for German Companies in Taiwan
- Organizing seminars, receptions as well as networking events (Stammtisch, Christmas Dinner, Oktoberfest, Christmas Market...)
- Processing inquiries of German companies interested in the Taiwanese market, preparing delegation visits to Taiwanese universities, institutions and companies
- Analyzing the geopolitical and economic situation of Taiwan, compiling reports and presentations on German-Taiwanese economic developments
Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program or in between a Bachelor and Master program
- Major in international business, economics, trade, security studies, diplomacy, politics, Chinese studies or similar fields
- Native proficiency in German, fluent in English; Chinese is a plus
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office; Adobe Suite is a plus
- Abroad studies or work experience in Taiwan, China or Hong Kong are a plus

Job Description
- Assisting in promoting events online by developing advertising strategies, creating visual content and banners, and writing promotional texts
- Summarizing, translating and editing of newspaper articles for the weekly newsletter
- Website and social media maintenance
- Design of flyers, presentations and other printed publications
Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program or in between a Bachelor and Master program
- Major in media, communications, business studies, economics, Chinese studies or similar fields
- Native proficiency in German, fluent in English; basic Chinese skills are a plus
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office and Adobe Suite
- Abroad studies or work experience in Taiwan, China or Hong Kong are a plus
