Training for Efficient Energy Technology and Corporate Energy Management
Background and Goals
The Taiwanese energy market is facing major upheavals - ambitious climate protection goals set by the government and the shift towards renewable energies pose new challenges for energy consumers across all industries. To successfully achieve the energy transition, it is not only important to change towards green energies, but their efficient use is also an important basis for a sustainable transition.
To address that, the German Trade Office Taipei and DEinternational Taiwan Ltd. are now offering the EUREM - European Energy Manager Training which is a comprehensive professional training for efficient energy technology and corporate energy management, that helps companies to find and utilize their energy efficiency potentials in a targeted manner.
Program Start

Duration: 160 units of 45 minutes (145 teaching units + 15 units self-study and project work) over 7 – 8 months.

Methodology
Application-oriented practical training with the following main elements:
- Operational energy management with the tasks of data management, energy purchasing and trading as well as contractual and business requirements
- Efficiency technologies in the field of heat and electricity as well as typical industrial applications (compressed air, electrical drives) and practically relevant renewable energies
- Energy consumption of buildings (building heat consumption, renovation, energy certificate) with a focus on non-residential buildings
- Short and concise, theoretical inputs using understandable, standardized materials
- Direct implementation through calculation exercises with energy data from the company
- Implementation support through practical tools: checklists, entry forms, spreadsheet templates
- Already during the practical training, the optimization of an energetic weak point in the company is developed as a project work - the possibility of immediate cost savings!
Certificate
After successful examination and project work, the participants graduate with the “European Energy Manager” certificate.
Training Times:
- Weekdays (19:00 – 22:00)
- Saturdays (09:00 – 16:00)
Price
The participation fees are as follows:
- Standard Fee: 65,000 NTD
- Early Bird Fee: 60,000 NTD (now till 2023/12/31)
- Business Alliance Member Fee: 58,500 NTD (limited to one seat)
- Multiple Participants Fee: 58,500 NTD (second seat from the same company)
