Taiwan-Germany Team Up for Cutting-Edge Metrology Solutions in the $500B Market

According to BMI Research report, the global medical device market is projected to grow to $535.2 billion by 2024, indicating significant business opportunities with a compound annual growth rate of approximately 5.6% from 2021 to 2024. While the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsides and forms the new normal, the demands for various non-emergency medical products are increasing accordingly. ZEISS Taiwan responded to the initiative by the German Trade Office in joining the German Pavilion, showcasing its latest products and technologies at Medical Taiwan held last week. The exhibition of this year focused on five main themes: ‘Digital Leap,’ ‘Supply Chain,’ ‘Innovation Force,’ ‘People-centric Future,’ and ‘All Age Healthcare.’ Through the collaboration with local market, ZEISS Taiwan promoted German leading medical technologies to the world and attracted great public attention.

Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has chosen "Beyond Healthcare" as the theme of 2023, reminding the public to pay more attention to people centric health care. The medical industry has always been a key focus of Germany's development, with its technology, quality, and equipment recognized as the global market pioneer. ZEISS Group, based on its people-oriented corporate philosophy, dedicated in the semiconductor manufacturing, research microscopy, medical technology, vision care, and optical consumer products markets.
