Tasks and Responsibilities:

The intern will be working closely with the Technical and Application Engineering Team engages in key tasks such as

• Supporting the Tech team in developing automation systems and equipment solutions and PLC programming for customers
• Addressing issues and inquiries related to IPC/IO/Drive and TwinCAT application and providing best practices and good instructions to customers.
• Conducting product or system installation, testing, troubleshooting, and providing on-site and off-site customer support.
• Independently liaising with engineers and PMs from Headquarters in Germany regarding product applications
• Crafting product instruction manuals and delivering technical training to customers.

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (daily office tasks and communication with colleagues will primarily be conducted in Chinese, technical terms and vocabulary can be discussed in English).
• Interest in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
• Hands-on experience in crafting web applications using popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Bootstrap
• Familiarity with back-end technologies like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django
• Understanding of database management systems like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

• Assist in the creation of communication tools including videos, brochures, sales kits, and website content.

The role of the Head of Business Development of Digital Industries is to enable and support the Sales and Businesses to reach their goals by providing market intelligence and data, defining growth measures in alignment with the Management, providing the framework and tools for enabling the teams to be successful in their tasks.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance in completing the preparation and execution of customer demonstrations and sample runs.
• Assist to ensure that tools are in optimum condition in advance of demonstrations, as well as for customer use. Flag and push to resolution any issues that impede this performance.
• Work in conjunction with application engineers and sales personnel to understand customer requirements in advance of demonstrations.

Learning Possibilities:

• Taking part in EFA and MA workflows in Zeiss’ service lab, experiencing the nanoprobing system

  • Technical support for subcons during engineering and production
  • ENG test support, ENG lot handling and test capacity scheduling for ENG wafers
• Support the Wafertest stability improvement
  • Support wafertest process stability monitoring, improvement and drive improvement implementation at test house
  • Support probe card improvement at subcontractor (lifetime, test quality)
